anyone know of a place that will rebuild a high-torque starter for me? i'm going to look at it, but if i can't figure it out, i'm paying someone lol.

There is a place near KilKare that does it. I have had them do a few for me and had really good luck.

I always used the place down on 3L highway with great success. There is supposed to be a place in goshen as well.
