where to buy unleaded race gas?

i could be wrong but ive heard that avgas doesnt gel up like regular racing gas and it has no shelf life so its the best fuel to run. is this true?

Are you talkin about 100 low lead? I heard nothing but good things about it...it's just expensive and hard to come by. I have anywhere from 2000 to 15000 gallons of jet fuel sitting under mt feet on any given day though...too bad I don't own a diesel.:o

it has a much better shelf life- not sure exactly how long, but I run it in my mower last mow of the year and leave it all winter with no problem. It also has no alcohol, so it will not suck up water or eat rubber hoses.

I usually run 100 octane avgas, which is under $4/gal. I also fly, so getting my hands on it is never a problem, though it may be harder if you are an average joe...

100LL still has some lead in it. I know some guys that mix it with like 93 or 94 stuff and I think one ran it straight. They like it.

I would think you would want a truck with a lift gate. A full drum should be over 400 lbs.

when i lived on the westside, i had a company deliver to me turbo blue, i just don't wanna tear up my 02 sensors

They do make an unleaded version of turbo blue and Duncan Oil in Beavercreek carries it.

Did you try Wardway Fuels? They carry Sunoco race fuels.

wardway does carry the 110 sunoco, $362 a drum, $50 for delivery thats $750 a gallon, yikees, wonder how much the turbo blue is lol

might just have to not worry about the 02's

If you end up getting a drum up around Dayton and need someone to help get it delivered Beef let me know. $7.50/gallon for 110. I couldn't afford to drive my car around for those prices. I'll stick to my $2.05/gallon "race fuel"

According to Sunoco's website the 110 octane stuff is leaded.
