I am getting ready to order a super charger kit and i dont have the garage space and lift or some of the technical "know-how". I was wondering if anyone had some shop space for a weekend or would like to give me a helping hand. I'm on a pretty tight budget so i can't really afford labor cost (might be able to slip a fifty tops) but i just wanted to know if anyone wanted to help out an 18 year old trying to make his car better. It would be greatly appriciated if someone could help at all. please let me know.

just an idea but before you order one why not post up a thread and see if anyone has a set up that will work on your car and see if you can work out a deal if you buy for a certain price from someone on here they agree to help put it on. That way you help out a fellow stangbanger and get the help you are looking for. Just an idea.
great car by the way

That's about the best advice you could get. Help somebody else out and you get the help you need. Good luck to you.

What they said.. Or maybe call one of the local speed shops they could possible get you a good deal on a price and install for what you will pay direct for just the supercharger.. Cincyspeed or modular depot

What blower kit are you going with? I could make you a nice deal on a torktech kit installed.

The only thing Id say is watch how much psi you run if your running on stock internals, trans, and rear end. Anything more than 6 psi and id say your risking one of the 3 if not all of them.

Well i talked to a tech guy from them and they said that their 9 psi kit would be fine wih stock internals.

9 psi to me seems like thats pushing it on a stock rear end, tranny, and internals.

well its gonna be for street use mostly should i go with the 6 psi kit?

I would say that 6 psi is alot safer on your car than 9, but thats just my opinion. You sure it isnt adjustable on the psi you run?

HawksWR37

well you can run different pulleys to get different psi. i just thought that 9 was still staying safe

You can run the 9 PSI intercooled kit without any problems. It is all in the tune.

Good thing somebody who knows more chimed in on it lol Defenitly go for 9 psi then.

Probably one of if not the best blowers on the market... their newer designs are more efficient than their previous designs. For the money they charge you cannot beat the quality of the kits

Does anyone have one on their gt here and if so do you have your dyno numbers?

A fiend of mine in Louisville has a 2.1 on his. I think he made around 400-ish through an auto on a safe tune. Another friend in Akron puts 425 with a KB 1.7 with a T-56. Really your ballpark of what you will want to stay with is right around 400ish or your internals will say 'fuck me'
