Back in the day there was nothing to have but Precision Power amps. The used stuff from 15 years ago still isn't cheap. Anyone know if their new stuff is of the same quality as back when they had the Art series stuff?

Those are the same price, but the one on top is 15 years old and used. I just can't imagine the new stuff is as good.

New stuff is foreign made junk. It doesn't compare with the old stuff. The same goes for Phoenix Gold, Soundstream, and Orion. They all use to be top of the stuff but I wouldn't own a damn thing from them any more.

Art Series FTW!

I would only own the AM or Art series.

I hate shit like that. I used to run Art series stuff pushing a couple of 12" Kicker comps (also gone to shit since then) and kicker resolution component mids and highs. I sold my stuff to my brother at a very "brotherly" price, and then it got stolen out of his car when it got towed to a garage overnight. Pisses me off.

I think HiFonics still makes their stuff here? :dunno:

Yup MB Quart was another long time favorite that sold out. At least JL Audio still makes top notch stuff.

Well, I think Imma pick up a couple A600 art series amps. Fuck that new shit. At least whatever I knew then still applies.... to stuff from then.

Hell, I remember trading in my old Kickers Comps for new ones. That was in the mid-90s. Shit was made so well that Kicker would buy them back from you to re-use the baskets and magnets etc.

I have a couple old ones that were the shit back in the day and every once in a while depending on the car I pull out the old amps and boxes and put them in. I had them in my porsche and you could CLEARLY hear me coming from a ways away. Funny thing is when this stuff was newer it pounded out rush, ac/dc, queen, tom petty, rolling stones, and ... well you get the picture and sadly thats what it plays now. lol I have laid off 2 live crew. lol and ice t... ha ha I am such a dork
