Over on a porsche site I got a response to my porsche add that read If you drive it to danbury ct I will give you 5000, feed you, and put you on a plane back home. Cool huh? Now I will be driving my car 11 1/2 hours. Then I will be on my way to florida for a little work and to look at a 97 cobra. So fun.... I will post up some pics when i get home. I want to spend a week or so in florida.
If your the praying type please say a few that I make it to CT and then to florida and then back home.

ha ha. Thats 2 quads a gocart a 76 trans am a mustang vert a ninja zx9 and a porsche all obtained in a matter of months and sold or traded. I am now in a 1997 greenish mustang cobra. I feels a little sluggish but good on power. I will go over it better when I get home. I am in clearwater florida now and will be on the space coast in a few days fishing and whatever then heading home. The car does run great but like I said it feels a little off, kinda sluggish at lower rpms. Not really the torque I though it would have. That surly can be fixed as the body looks good an inside is clean. 109,000 miles. Just to put this out there If anyone has a nice set of wheels I may trade these cobra rims off. Send me some ideas and I may consider some grey and chome bullitt type wheels. They are the ones I had stock on my 03 gt. But I will be keeping the tires as they are brand new. Let me know what you have and pics if poss. I will be back home in a week or so.

From what i have seen/heard/felt the cobras make all the power up top, my buddy has a 97 cobra and it screams up top, above like 4500 rpm deff a fun car though,

Nothing a 4.10 or even 4.30 gear won't take care of. They're turds with a stock gear.

def wakes up on top. Feels way underpowered with it floored but a 3500 or so it just takes off. The clutch doesnt slip while in gear but it wont get rubber in 2. It just feathers in even when I let the clutch go. once it is no slip or anything. It seems to work the way it should. Releases where it should but just wont bite the way I think it should

who has a set of gears for me and how much for them. I have someone that can put them in but if the seller wants to work out a deal with putting them in I may be up for that too. I still need it to be a hwy car so no 4500 rpms in 5th at 100. Just want to wake it up a bit. 3.73 area always seemed nice. What do you guys think

Just had 410s put in my 99 cobra and it gave it that little extra kick in the pants at low rpm.I drive 60 miles round trip to work and back all highway and havent seen much of a difference a little on fuel milage and rpm's but I wouldn't have any other way.The car loves the 410 totaly different car.
