I am sure lots of you have facebook and such. Anyone play mafia wars? I've had a good time playing it lately and hasn't costed a dime, though you can spend real money on it.

I play it on facebook with a couple of friends and family. I'm up to level 134 and I don't spend a dime on it.

my friends are trying to get me into that one, but my wife got me hooked on that stupid farmtown. those easy generic games are fun. another stupid one to get hooked on is fantasticcontraption.

I play mafia wars from myspace. I have a facebook account but haven't set one up there yet. Is it all that different and can they link?

I quit playing the stupid farm games but I'm still hooked on Yoville.

You have your mafia and do jobs. The more friends on facebook you get to play mafia wars the more power you have to beat other people or keep them from attacking you. you get experience points for doing jobs and robbing. there are lots of little things and because you only get so many energy points to do jobs and stamina points to attack people you really don't spend a lot of time and one sitting. of course you get a nifty mafia name and you can give and recieve gifts to your mafia members, or strangers i suppose. pretty simple to learn, my wife isn't a gamer and even she plays. I will be higher level than here soon yeah! but may not be able to get above my son.

I've been playing the farmtown and restaurant city. I have the mafia wars app but didn't figure it out.
