ok.. i know this isn't a Fox, ...
but i have a t-bird with a 302 with a bad smog pump... i know on my previous 5.0's we just always would bypass it with a shorter belt... but what size is it?
thanks
Justin

Not sure what it would be a T-bird, but my '94 needed a 89.5 or a Gates Belt Part #K060895. I tried 4 or 5 belts before I finally found the right one.

Good Luck!

80.2 should be the size. Here is a link showing both and the route to use.

Keep in mind this was the first diagram I found to work for my car. I looked at several, which all had the same layout, just different sizes.

This was from member chris91 running no AC or Smog.

Are you running AC? If not then use this part number, youll have to remove the upper tensioner though. This is the exact belt I ran on my old 94 with underdrives and no AC or Smog.

I found the 89.5 at Savage. No one else carried that size in the USA that I could find...only in Asia

You might try there or http://rockauto.com/ If not try to get as close as you can and go from there. You will see a lot of people who have to do that, then make a small bracket/spacer to push the alternator away from the factory bracket.

Yes, they are legit. You can get some good deals from them. Only bad thing is if you need to return something you have to pay shipping back.

or you could always just sell the part for what you paid, dont loose out on any money, and buy the new right part, but i got the belt, its on and works great, thanks for the help guys

I removed all of mine so I am not sure. The only thing I had to weld shut was the opening on the H pipe. If you remove the lines to the back of the heads you will need to buy special plugs to fill the holes.

thats what im gonna do, but i just need to plug the lines that are hanging there for the moment till i get it over to a buddys house, then were gonna remove the lines and weld the hole in the x pipe
