This question isn't for my Mustang but for my wife's Infiniti I30. Its begun to develop several spots of surface rust. Is there anything out there that I can use to treat it or is there a method I can use at home to get rid of it? I want to hang unto the car for about 2 more years and then trade it in but don't want to sink a bunch of money into it. Car runs good and only has a few rattles and squeeks.
Most of the rust seems to be in the rear quarter panel area, trunk area and around the attached spoiler. If needed I can take pictures and post them.
