A Couple 2v Questions.

I'm thinking of going Catless with Magnapacks, does anyone know if these will drone super bad?
Also I have a '96 and my with a '04 wants to sell me his lowering springs, will they fit on my '96 on stock shocks and such?

I think bobtsgt use to have that same set up. It was really damn loud but I don't know about drone. I don't see any reason why the springs wouldn't work.

As long as your buddies wasnt a cobra then the springs will work.

I havent heard of any magnaflows having droning problems like flowbasterds.

If I find out they drone bad from someone I won't get them. My uncle owns an exhaust shop so all I have to do is by x-pipe and mufflers and I'm good on that part. I've been on youtube religiously listening to different exhaust setups to see what I like and don't like..

Yea the springs will be fine.

I think the springs are the same from like 87-04 or some thing crazy like that.

I ran magnaflows with an O/R x-pipe on my 02GT. Sounded great. No drone to speak of. I ended up changing the O/R Xto a high flow catted X-pipe to appease my darling wife. She said it was too loud for her ears in the car. The bassani mellowed the sound enough to make her happy. I saw no change in the performance of the car at the track.
