Putnam is a great track to learn on if you have never done an event such as this. Other than the final turn to the straight, there is plenty of runoff room and not much to hit if you do something really stupid.

I really like Putnam, it challenges your lines and car control - turn one is cool - crank down the straight at about 150, the road falls downhill into a RH sweeper. It takes a while to grow the balls to not brake as hard as you would think going into it and carry the speed right through - you know when you get it right, you'll be braking real hard for turn two!
