I am planning to assemble my shortblock this weekend and am looking for a tapered piston compressor to borrow. I need one that is 3.572 diameter.

Sounds like you are building a modular engine. The pliers type ring compressors are allot of trouble. Buy the Wiseco sleeve. I have one if you need to use it but for the $20 they are well worth having.
They may be a little more than that but they are well worth it.

Yes your correct its a mod. Where can you get them for $20, I've only found them for around $60. I hate to be cheap but hopefully I only need it once. Plus I have squeeze type one.
