When I cut the holes for the speakers I make them larger than I originally intended so I've decided I will make a backing plate and mount them flush with the grills even with the surface. I am planning on using alpine type r's because they are so cheap with such power handling. I think I am going to use kicker amps because they are pretty well priced for the power.

Anyone considering what to do about some air holes. I am thinking about 3 holes low in the center and putting led's in red white and blue. I'll paint the edges black so they don't stand out and cover them with some screen or something.

I am covering it with vinyl the same color as the interior. I think i am going to add a red white and blue stripe behind the plexi stripes carring over to the bottom.
in the trunk I am going to make a carpeted bulkhead to conceal the amps about the same place as the front of the spare tire well and shock towers. I am going to make a mirrored mustang cutout in it.
