anyone been this year? going down tonight and just wondering if there was anything that i should look out for? plan to stay for about 10 days and leave the wife with her parents for a few more after i leave.

my inlaws go every year with the family for vacation. 2-3 weeks over the summer and they stay in the coach in one of the travel parks there. they pay for everything from food to drinks and all activities. this years goal is to see how many different golf courses we can play. which should be interesting because i played for the first time ever there last year.

was there earlier this year. Myrtle is just a beach. Alot of the shells are gone, so don't plan on finding alot of stuff. If you go to the Mrytle beach national park that where you can find some shells and other stuff.

When I was there, at night is when the crazy people came out. They were running the beach nude and all kinds of stuff.

You should have a blast.....just take the kids in at night.

we just got down here a little while ago. staying at the myrtle beach travel park, and we are the second spot off the beach. i have never seen so many cops out. literaly dozens and almost all of them had someone pulled over. averaged out about 25 mpg in the mustang. i know it would have been better had i not been racing through west virginia like a banshee. but those nice sweeping curves are fun as hell!

That place was there when I was little, that is where we used to camp at! Last time I went was in 2002, I flew down and met my family, who had driven down. I love Myrtle Beach, and it's really not a bad drive down there. I'd go there over Florida any day.

Go to the Aligator Farm!! A SHIT TON of Gators there!!! We were pushing the girls in the stroller on the Boardwalk above all the Gators. They kinda woke up and started swiming towards us, Thank God we were 5' above them and surrounded by a Fence. Still kinda freaky, but the girls were like, alligata!!!:lol:

i may be game for the alligator thing. easy way to get rid of the wife. had a nice storm come through tonight so we spent the evening playing wi. oh and you cannot forget the drinking thing.

I'll be there next month, we go down every year with about ten families and all stay on the main strip in the Pavillion. Make sure you hit the Bowery for a few beers.
