Chevy is leaving the two lower tier Nascar series. The trucks aren't a big surprise but the Nationwide is one.

I was wondering when they would cut NASCAR support.

It wouldnt surprise me if NASCAR started dying as a whole because of the government recently taking an interest in buying car companies.

Chevy indicated they will continue to have teams running Corvettes in the GT2 class.

Nah not likely. Honda is joining in 2012 I think. Don't know if that's still on or not. I do know Nascar is reaching out to them BMW, Mercedes and any one else who has a manufactoring plant in the states. Nascar just won't be "American" car companies anymore.

This will further along their demise.
