Anybody been having reception problems over the last few days? Mine has been terrible and I'm not sure if it's the car, or if Sirius themselves are having problems.

Yea, mine was cutting out all the way to Dayton and back yesterday.

They better get on it, or they can have their shit back.

Well it's good to know I'm not the only one. I've had Sirius since 04 I think, and this is the first time I've really thought about getting rid of it. Makes it damn near impossible to listen to.

I had trouble this morning but I just assumed it was because of the heavy rain. Though I never had an issue in our Grand Cherokee in the rain or with the plu and play radio I had in my SRT4, even with the antenna under the dash.

I called them after my drive in this morning. The dork I talked to said that they've been working on the satellite signal for the last several days, and they're hoping to have it finished by this afternoon. He said he's been getting pounded with calls over the last few days.

There was an article about two weeks ago in one of online papers with a bunch of people complaing about their sirius reception going out in the surrounding cincy suburbs.
I only have a problem in the lockland area(always have) but other than that i have not had a problem with my reception in the downtown cincy/nky area.

I have XM with the best of Sirius in the work truck, and I have had no issues with reception from all points within a 300 mile radius of Sharonville...day, night, rain, or snow. But I don't know how the signals relate now that they are both one company.:dunno:

Right now they have 2 completely different systems, they just broadcast most things over both of them.

And if have both you have to have two separate accounts and pay full price for both.

Howard Ain, did a report last night. I really didn't pay attention, since I don't use sat. radio.

I let my subscription run out, because for the last few months my receiver kept "acquiring signal" and got to the point where it wouldn't come on at all. I figured it was the unit itself because it did the same thing in both my truck and my home kit. Now I'm wondering if I should turn it back on.
The satellite was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan aboard an International Launch Services (ILS) Proton.
VERY NIICE!!
