well I went to North Carolina for the Coca Cola 600 but that was a wash, but i got to tour the Penske Racing shop throught some connections my mom has.
We toured with the gas man for kurt busch, was really cool to see all the behind the scenes stuff that no one really gets to see. learned alot of stuff about the jobs of the pit crew when its not race day. We also got to see the process of how they build new cars, here are some pics, took them with my cell but its a 3.2 mp hope they arnt too shitty
this was in the metal shop, reusing a car that had been banged up a bit

replaced dented body panels almost ready for paint

this is where the do all the work on the cars, put stuff off and take them apart, it is absolutly amazing how clean it is. there is not a sign of grease anywhere, they wash everything before it comes into the shop so there is no dirt anywhere
