The factory K member would be the first thing I would get rid of. It makes working on a mustang so much nicer.
On the cheap I would use 4cly front springs v8 rear springs. 90/10 front struts what ever rear shocks you have. Try to get rid of weight in the front of the car. Move your battery to the trunk. Ditch the front sway bar.
I like megabite Jr control arms. They work well.
Adjustable Stange shocks and stuts are nice also for a couple bucks more.
For a strip car an Anti sway bar makes a big difference. You could take a link off to drive on the street with one.
How much power is your car going to make? What are your goals? I think high 1.2s low 1.3s are real good low 60fts with stock style suspension. It would take a decent amount of power and a good chassis. The fastest 60ft I have ever gone was a 1.31 on the nitrous and 1.37 on motor. There is alot in tuning a suspension like Instant center, weight percent on each wheel, and Clutch/converter. Its not allways the brand of the components its how they are used.

My car was lowered and went a 1.71 on motor and a 1.66 on a 125 shot on 27 X10.5 -15 Hoosier quick time pro's. It is a full weight gt and it makes 306Hp 319tq on motor.

I would say you should be around the high 1.5s-1.60 on motor and low 1.5s on a little nitrous. Get some weight out of the car and try some different springs struts

I am going with lakewood 90/10 in the front, 4 cylinder front springs and gt rear springs. I am trying to get a set of rear eibach drag springs with a bag for it. When i launch it on spray it goes to the right but i think the bag should help that.

Still have the front sway bar hooked up? The front spring/strut setup is going to help you out quite abit, and you can pickup a bag and still use the rear v8 springs. Might want to condsider some control arms.
