I bought this car last summer as a non rolling body for 1k. Its a 94 black on black GT with 60k on it. The guy I bought it from used it as a donar car for his factory five cobra. I just got the car back from Plated and he did an awesome job on the body work and paint! For a drive train I have a 347 stroker that is ready to go in and a barley used TKO II. The HP goal for the car is 400rw and the ET goals are high 10's. Its going to take some seat time and alot of trial and error to hit the 10sec mark i'm sure. I expect the car will be around the 12.00 to 11.50 mark the first few times out but 10.99 is the target. After that i'm planning on a new block and some sort of power adder. Here is a list of parts that I have so far

-347 all forged internals Eagle crank and Eagle H beam rods and SRP flat top pistons nearly 11:1comp
-Stage 3 Trickflow cam
-Edelbrock Victor Jr heads and Victor 5.0 intake
-Accufab 75R TB
-42lb injectors
-Mac 1 3/4 shortys and 3'' prochamber
-Mishimoto aluminum radiator
-TKO II with pro 5.0 shifter
-UPR rear pro kit
-UPR K member kit
-UPR cc plates
-Weld Prostars

I'm leaving out alot of the little things, but thats most of it. I still need a few small things like mufflers and ud pullies to get it running. To get it driving I need to get the rear end built. If I stay motivated there is no reason it should not be on the track by July sometime. Here are a few pics I will update as I go!

Car looks awesome!! My 347 w/ the same heads and a little less compression but more agressive cam made 402 to the wheels so I would say you should be able to get there no problem.

The car is at home in my garage now. I love having it here at home. Its a lot more fun to be able to go out and work on it whenever I want. A few days ago I put the engine and trans in. I got most of the wiring hooked up just need to change the plugs for the TPS and the IAC. I bought a new set of front tires and got them mounted on the prostars and also got my slicks mounted. 26x10s look tiny on it for some reason. I might get a pair of 28x10.5s for it next time. I also mounted the tach. I have to figure out what i'm going to do about a cold air intake and buy some underdrive pullies then I can fire it up.

What rear gears are you running? With 26" tires you will probably want 4.30's, 28's will want 4.56's.

AntiRice427

I was planning on a 4.30 but maybe a 4.56. I really dont like the way it looks with the 26x10s on it so i'm not sure what i'm going to do. I should probably just run the 26s and the 4.30 until I go power adder then make the change to 28x10.5s and probably 3.55s.

No sure didnt where id ya hear that? I wish lol Finally got a stock working CD6 back in it but would like to get some eventually dont know what kind was leaning towards FR500's or 03-04 Cobra Rims. Ill have to stop out at the shop soon and order some Hawk pads for it though, and am hoping to be ordering a JLT for it in a few months or less. Had any luck finding any underdrive pullies for your car?

I was hoping to have this thing at the cruise today. Over the last two weeks I have been buying parts and working on it everyday and the damn thing has fought me every step of the way. After I finished running the fuel lines and installing the gas tank I tried to prime the fuel pump but got nothing when I turned the key. Before I tried to figure that problem out I decided that I would see if I had spark. No spark. The PCM was not turning on. So I got the multimeter out and started going to town. I didn't have any 94-95 wiring diagrams so I printed some out off of the web. For the first two days I could not make sense out of anything that I was testing. Turned out that these wiring diagrams were junk. The computer pin outs and wire colors were completely inaccurate. After I got a good diagram I figured out that the CCRM (constant control relay module) was bad. For those who don't know this is a box that 94-95 cars have. Inside are circuits that turn the fuel pump relay on, turn the computer on, and several other things. $182 at ford for a new one. I bought a used one the next day out of a wrecked car. So, after losing about 4 days chasing down this problem I install the new ccrm and the computer fires up! Problem solved now I can get back to putting the rest of the car together. WRONG! Still no fuel pump, wtf? I got the multimeter back out and started testing from the pcm and ccrm back towards the tank. After I dropped the tank back out I discovered that the brand new GSS340 fuel pump was shorting out. I don't know if it got cooked while I was testing stuff or what but I ordered a new one hoping that it would be here before the weekend but it never showed up. Something else that did not show up was the new headlight that I was supposed to get. I ordered a set of head lights two weeks ago, waited a week and got an email saying that they are out of stock! It took you a freaking week to tell me that?? I ordered a different set and the place sent me two different brands! The left was made in China and the right in Taiwan. I wouldn't have cared if they would have looked the same but they look totally different. On Friday when I realized the new pump was not going to be here I decided to put a stock one in it that I had in the garage just to get it running. I figured well I guess I can drive it to the cruise with mismatched lights and a stock fuel pump, I just wont be able to floor it. I primed the pump and checked for leaks. Why do I only have 10psi of fuel pressure? Ended up having a bad regulator. Swapped it out for a stock one and finally it ran!! I gave it my best shot of getting it done but late last night I gave up. It was running extremely rich and I had a few brake lines leaking, and the Kirkey seats were not moutned yet. I could have stayed up all night and got it done but the car still needed cleaned up, and I didn't want its first flight to be a one hour drive anyways. Today I just cleaned up the garage, took some pics, and relaxed. Maybe later this week I will be able to drive it.

Here is the finished product under the hood

I converted to a fox throttlebody and had to make my own air intake. This is what I came up with

Here is a pic of the breather tank mounted and the lines running to it. I had a -8 bung welded in the pass side valve cover, and had a trickflow fill tube welded in the other one. I drilled and tapped the hole out on the fill tube to fit a -8 fitting on it as well.

The guy that I bought the car from cut the fuel lines all up so I bought new braided line and used a set of 87-93 fuel rails.

I ran 1/0 cable to the trunk and made my own battery hold down. I think it turned out nice. I made a bracket for the shut off switch and mounted it under the bumper.

Here is a pic with the mis matched headlights. You cant tell in the pic but they are not the same at all. I can't wait to get the right light and tint them all. The clear does not look right on the car. I had to buy clear because I couldn'y find any smoked ones that I liked.
