$10K anyone...

Man if its not worth $10K locally when B.E.S. is in our backyard to back what I'm advertising to be true...its not worth anything...

I'll split the dyno cost with a buyer & take it to Tony myself & let you see what your getting...

What sportsman block? 2 bolt, or 4 bolt, siamese or no? Did you fill the block at all? What size are the main journals? For 10K you need WAY more details than a 10 part list.

Anyone serious "especially locally would want to come see in person or call me before coming out to look at"...listing a 3 page detail spec sheet for it on here would be a waste of time. its a 4 bolt main btw.. stangbangerz is as bad as racing junk when it comes to selling stuff...unless you list it for .20 cents on the dollar, no one is interested;)

I'm just sayin, some people don't have time to call and ask questions about every decent engine posted for sale with little detail- just to find out, oh it's got a block with the big windsor bearings- not interested.

I know people who buy stuff that aren't registered here. If I'm talking on the phone to someone who'd be interested and see your post, it's like, hey here's a bad ass BES engine for a good price- got blah blah blah.. They go, "sounds cool, what block?" Uhh, says Sportman. "Which one?" I don't know. "Does it have the Cleveland or Windsor bearings?" I don't know. "Is it a 4 bolt?" I don't know, didn't say. "Iron or aluminum?" I don't know didn't say, I guess you could call him and ask.

Get my point? That's pretty basic stuff IMO, you don't need 3 pages of cam specs and flow sheets.

I think your price is more than fair BTW.

I agree with you... I still say someone that is remotely serious about dropping $10K on anything and has cash in hand ready to spend would have no problem spending 15 min on the phone. If they don't have time to call or come see..they're probably not a serious buyer etc.. another thing i should say to be honest is "I don't know every detail"...I went to Tony & said build me a bad ass small block NA motor etc...I would have to dig paper work and read down receipt etc..
