Finally got some time to post some pictures on the slow ass build of my 87 GT. I picked it up in near junkyard condition in Baltimore about a year ago. It broke down on the way home. lol

Tearing stuff apart....Notice I had to cut the floor board out where the upper control arm torque boxes used to be welded in. I put a patch panel in with thicker gauge steel. They were in such bad shape I had to remove the cross member between the frame rails and add a Wild Rides Complete S-Box. The lower torque boxes were in good shape so I just added the Wild Rides reinforcement kit.

When I was a kid my dad had an 88 GT with T-Tops and I just loved the car. That was a requirement when I was looking for one.

Saw this car in person tonight. Looks awesome!!! I am enveous of the still intact front frame rails. The rear control arm mounts should handle the motor you are planning! Good luck, and thanks for the rims!!!!

Looks a hell of a lot better than ours did! The ttop is close to my husbands heart! :o
