Well my early lease turn in on my Durango is this July. I have been looking at the Chargers, but was recently thinking about the Wrangler Unlimited with a 6 speed. Just curious if anyone knew of any problems with these things or certain things to get or not get on one.
....If only Ford would put three seat belts in the back of the Mustang like the Challenger I would be set.

Aside from Chrysler about to go belly up the new Wranglers look really good to me.

I am going to look at one tomorrow at Dave Dennis. I also have a Charger picked out if I do not like it. After checking around they kind of have a cult following...like the Mustangs.

Let me know what you think. I have heard that the Unlimiteds don't have the ride quirks that the regular Jeeps do on the highway...especially the older models.

My mom drives a 07 unlimited 4dr its ok, its got a lil get up in it, but personally i like jeeps, so if you want a good one, get you a old cj5 and get the build up kits, my dad had one and it sounded like a damn race car..

I would not mind buying used but I can get out of my lease early if I get a new one. Plus I will get the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty that way. As far as the old CJ's I like those, especially when you put a small block in them...but not so good as a family DD cruiser.

Well I went and bought one off the lot. Has both a hard and soft top, Infiniti Sound System, and a few other things.
Now as soon as the Mustang is back together I can start mod'ing this! :D

:(I had no choice I needed the three seat belts in the back. If you will be on pavement most of the time I have heard the 4 door is much smoother because of the longer wheel base...but I did not drive a 2 door so I can not speak from experience. I have read when off-roading the only issue can be cresting certain angle hill tops. Also this thing actually handles well on the street...for a Jeep. Quiet and smooth compared to the older models. We took it up to 85 on the highway and it felt just like my Durango, minus the HEMI .

Now I notice you wrote this after my last commet. But that is correct it is a smooth ride on the highway.

I need to go drive one. I am anxious to see what happens to prices with Chrysler filing Chaper 11.
