what pisses me off

you know everything thats going on in this economy,where all these companies are laying people off to save them money,and then ask the government(tax payers)to help bail them out.Well what really bothers me is that the people that it really hurts,are the workers like us,that have families,and when they give you the unemployment and you start to get a paycheck,they think that u get enough $$$ to feed a family of 4or what ever it may be,with only 640 every 2 weeks.Thats not including the car payment every month,car insurance,rent and or mortgage,electric,water,heat,air that you have to pay out of that $$$.I am in this situation,just like most of you.Since they will not give us the same deal that they give these companies.I think we should get 100% of the $$$ we were making when we were still employed for our unemployment and since we paid for it,we should get at least 200 every week for food stamps.That is just the begining,but it would help the real people that make this world go round.If anyone has a reply to this,let it fly,because im sure it makes u furious as well.:rockon:

my dads in the same situation. his field has slowed down to basically nothing. ( Architect (sp) ) and unemployment sucks. hell the government sucks IMO. he gets like 40% of what he org. made which is redicolous.

people cant live off of that,see u no how if u get married and u pay the way for ur wife and kids but she didnt work the whole time,now when u get a divorce she can come after u for spouse support,because u provided that life style for her,that should be the same way for emplyers after working for them for so long,ya no?

just got my walking papers last week. i get a severance that will last me for a bit then onto unemployment. even though my wife works it is still going to be hard and i am not even sure that we will be able to make it. going to see if the state will pay for retraining.

I feel your pain dude...i'm workin at fuckin walmart and i only make about $630 every 2 weeks. I'd soak up the unemployment while you can and LOOK for a job hardcore. I was making more on unemployment when i got laid off but when that runs out you end up fucked like me and you take what you can get.
