Well Im having a problem with my car when Im driving. It will be acting just fine then will start acting like its loading up then clears its self out. It doesnt do it all the time. And it happens more at lower rpms when Im cruising. I was thinking the MAF so i switched it out last night and it did not help, I checked the regulator and it was fine, Checked TPS and was at .98. The car is showing no codes. Maybe my 6AL is going bad? ANy body have any ideas?
The current combo is your basic bolt on combo with a e-cam, stock inj, 255 pump, adj reg, msd ingnition, timing is at 14deg, fuel press is at 38.

You may want to check your plug wires/boots...might have a wire arching to ground.

Usually if the MSD box is going out, it just goes all the way out. You don't have the wrong plugs in it do you?

Well then I'd say to go with Jeff's idea, or maybe the rotor in your distributor could be a little off. Light load cruising sees the most timing, so maybe when the coil is throwing the spark, the rotor isn't quite lined up.
Sure it's unlikely, but it gives you something to do. :D

Hey Mark it could be the MSD, i've had problems like that before and it was the cause. You can just temporarily bypass it and see if the problem goes away.
