Just wondering i was thinking about building a 331 stroker didn't know if anyone has had any luck with these.Or if anyone had heard any horror stories about these kits. They seem kinda cheap but sometimes you stumble across a deal.

what are your plans for the car?
Scat and Eagle do makes some pretty good stuff but I checked out a set of KB forged pistons about 6 weeks or so ago. They were HEAVY. I don't think you have a spend a whole lot more to get much nicer parts.

What are your plans/goals for the motor and car?
I have a 347 in my coupe that uses a eagle forged crank/H-beam rods with off the self ross forged pistons.

Yes, I would stay away from the Keith Black stuff. I`ll take some pictures of the pistons that came out of my car with only about 2000 miles on them.

Just call and talk to Brian there at Adperformance. He's the guy who goes by Eagle. He runs specials all the time and has some of the best prices I've seen. Like everyone else has said, stay away from the Keith Black stuff, it doesn't cost much more to get into a piston that is known to be reliable.
A friend of mine and myself bought 383 stroker kits from him a couple of yrs ago. There was a special for 999.00 that came with Eagle forged cranks, H-beam rods and JE pistons. I opted to upgrade the rod bolts to the L19 rod bolts for a few bucks more. I'm sure if you tell him your budget he can set you up with something. He's got great feedback and customer service to boot.
