Imagine paying $100K for a 2009 Shelby KR and the next year you can buy a GT 500 with the same power. The one thing that Ford seems to miss (which the KR addresses, but not completely) is that you can't keep adding HP and not make commensurate changes to the chassis. As the test driver noted, that thing is an understeering pig on the figure 8. More tire, better (and lower) springs amd thicker anti-roll bars please.

The KR is a joke IMO. Only about $2K-$5K worth of mods over the GT500 and then they bump the price $50,000. I think that is the real reason some dealers are having a hard time selling them. I saw a brand new one for sale for $69,000.
