I was there the first Saturday they were open and I got 5 runs in. I left an hour or so before they closed and I let my car cool down between passes. They have a new track manager and things seem to running a little smoother now.

That sucks! It seemed like a nice car to start with. Fairly low miles and clean ass interior. Wish I had the cash to buy it back!

Thanks for the pics! It turned out nice with that hood and paint. Glad to see it look so good. I love how it sits so low without the motor in it. With the Welds on it it sat low but looked mean and thats the way I liked it.

I put a new bumper cover on it cause I didnt want to sand it.Also put new headlights cause the old ones was alittle yellow.

Sure turned out nice! I sent the pics of it to Raz since he had it I figured he'd like to see it again. Wish I stil had it but oh well. Cant keep em all! Jim's car was sweet in person, saw him tear of a couple 8 second runs at Kil-Kare tonight, awesome car man. Maybe Brian and i can get our shit together and get out there.

It made another 8.99 pass...it seemed like a bracket car.lol.Car didnt seem to be hooking as good as it should.Also theres still a slight problem with something on the launch.Good thing is I didnt have to throw the chute.But the shutdown does come quick at 153mph lol

there #'s counting you down till you eat the wall...I had my hand on the chute handle just in case...But I got it stopped fine every time

Seems weird going down the track with the stands that close.And I didnt think it hooked as good as it should..Im sure Id go back.Its a nice place.

Guess you have some good race brakes to get it stopped from 153 without using the shute. I know I was hard on the brakes to get my 3100# coupe stopped from 136-137 there last year. It was a bit nervous to see the braking distance markers counting down so fast.

I think it wouldve stopped with the stock brakes up front really.I still have stockers on the rear but have strange up front now.

I was going to come over and bullshit with ya Jim about the 91 but you had a few people talking to ya and you seemed busy. As the weather gets warmer the track hooks better. Hopefully you'll come back soon. The more Mustangs the better!

The track will get much better as the year goes on, still real early. If you have some type of permanent number on your car, my NMRA # always worked for me, they have 1 Wednesday a month open to just permanent numbered cars. You can usually get as many runs in as you want, it's not near as crowded, and the track is better because most all the cars are on slicks.

Don't worry about the shut down, if the hard as rock sand at the end doesn't stop you, the bank on the other side of the creek running behind it will! :lol:

they have done a lot of work to the track in the last couple of months as well, including some new concrete. It should definitely get better as the season goes on. Of course I did get my best 60' ever on the very first day this season.
