View Full Version : Magnaflow exhaust

I have two magnaflow mufflers welded to stock 96 Flowtubes. 1 muffler has a turndown, the other came off somewhere.
But the flowtubes and turn down can easily be taken off.
I just had them dumped on my 96.

I also have the stock tailpipes.

Mufflers $70 or $100 for everthing.

Hard to tell, but are the mufflers offset inlet/offset outlet?

I'm VERY tempted to put tailpipes back on my '94 GT...

yes they are

I wanted tailpipes back too. I wanted to do it right too so I just ordered a whole new catback. Now just trying to get rid of the old one.

How did you like the magnaflow sound compared to the flowmaster sound?

granted sound is all about personal preference but I find magnaflows to be the best sounding exhaust hands down.

They have a nice rumble most of the time but you can make pople think it's the end of the world if you get on it.
So it gives you the best of both worlds.

That about sums it up. If you're behaving, they sound like it. If you step into it, they adjust accordingly :lol:

ever since I heard your coupe I've been wanting a set. What exactly is your exhaust setup again?

Man full lengths, Dr. Gas X pipe, Magnaflow cat-back. Basically it'll sound similar as long as you run the cat-back with an X and not an H....sounds totally different with an H (and i don't really like it...don't like them dumped either).
