I currently have two timing covers I can use on my motor. Its going to be a fuel injected mustang engine with serp belt and reverse flow water pump.

This timing cover came off of my 89 coupe with a 302.This is the most common cover you see.

This one was givin to me by some one.I have the correct water pump backing plate to go with this timing cover. All the water pumps I have are the same rotation and the same in and out.The only difference is how the holes are oreinted in the timing cover.
Please let me know if I can use the clean one or not.
