There is some very good material on Death Magnetic, but whoever told the band that distorted sound would be cool is a moron. It sounds like the source was way too loud, like the board man didn't know wtf they were doing. I know Metallica has enough money to pay a good board man! :rolleyes:

I love my Guitar Hero Metallica! They must of remixed some of the songs, because I played Frantic off of the St. Anger (everyone knows how good that sounded), and it actually sounded O.K. and not like shit when it came off of the album

It's something about Metallica's style that gets me I like every song they have from the album Kill EM All to Death Magnetic.

The material is good stuff, the remastering sucks balls. It's not on every track and some are worse than others. You can google the topic and see it is just not a few people noticing this. Last I checked/heard, Metallica was seriously considering re-releasing the DM album remastered without the distortion bs.
