I have a powermaster starter that is going on my coupe. It has two wires to connect to it. One large, one small. How do I wire this thing? Do I still use the part on the fender well and where does the small wire to the starter come from? Any explanation would be helpful. I have been told 3 different ways to wire this thing. Thanks...

I think you wire them together. Thats what tray(8banger) and tonyt did with theirs.

That is what I have been told today. Run a jumper wire to both connections on the starter. I will try that as soon as I put a battery in it.
Thanks...Keith

I think that wiring the 2 posts together will energise both the starter and silinoid at the same time so it will turn the motor when i hit the key. When i let off the key, the starter should stop and the motor will run.

Mine is set up like you are saying keith. Main power to the solinoid on the fender. When that solinoid is energized Power goes to both the solinoid and swith power on the starter. I just do that so I dont have that main power wire allways hot. Both ways will work.
Both ways should wotk just fine. One way has constant main power to the starter the other way doesnt.
