Past couple weekends we have had some pretty good projects going on around the house. Weather has been decent just trying to get the house ready for spring. We are having our first big gathering at house since moving in 6 months ago so we wanted to get a few things in order.
I built a gate to the deck to keep the pups off the top level.

I also built myself a workbench for the garage so the wife would quite hollering at me to get off the kitchen table.

Almost done with the workbench, still need to add a shelf underneath and mount my vise on the left front corner.
And as you can see tomorrow will be fun as that large white box was dropped of by the Fedex man straight from the magnaflow factory :D
But the most impressive project was done by my wife. She has never done tile work before but wanted some nice decorative tile work around out whirlpool tub. Well I figured the worst we would be out about $300 in tile. Well I have to say that she did one hell of a job. It looks amazing.

It's almost done she just has a little trim to do on the left side, and she is making a larger topper for the half wall. She should be done with it today.
Hopefully the weather will clear up this week so our deck can be finished. Currently it's a little 10x10, but we are having it expanded to 20x14 to give some more entertaining room. Also the mudpit seen in the gate picture will be replaced with a nice concrete patio.
Ohh yeah I also buried the two downspouts in the backyard to help with the water pooling under the deck.
