Recommendations for year 'round tires esp. for rain.

My brother has his '05 GT that he bought new and it is his daily driver. He just turned 44k miles and is going to have to buy new tires. Any recommendations about what all season tires that he work well on stangs?

I had some aqua treads that did great in all conditions and got a good bite even in the cold. also I have never had any problems out of kumho or toyo. Its all in the profile and tread pattern

well how hard does he drive the car? he's going to have to trade off somewhere. toyo proxes 4 is decent mid range all season performance tire, the michelin pilot a/s sport is probably one of the top of the line and newest tires in the category. Kumho has their new ecsta lx platinum, which should do fine in weather, but will give up a little performance. Goodyear has their response edge and eagle gt. Although ive never been much of a fan for goodyear.

I dont know about on a mustang but the General AltiMAX HP that Jon recomended me for my daily driver honda are great tires in any condition.

Just get anouther set of rims for some real winter tires. I had some studded snow tires on my old GT. It was a blast to drive in the snow. Nothing like drifting on purpose.

id have to disagree with ya there, i have them on my 93 and had no problems getting around in the snow but i do agree with ya about them in the rain though.
