Definitely looks like a good start with the color and being a factory 5 speed car. Doesn't look too clean though, maybe the guy will work on the price.

That thing has been on there forever. I think he was asking close to $3000 to start with. I bet it has a few other issues to...but if your gutting it who cares :lol:

It only $2000 you cant even buy doors, hood, frame or a rolling chassis for that.

If its a rust free straight body it would be a good buy for a V-8 conversion. Someone with a rusted Ohio car could build themselves a nice ride. Rust has a way of coming back, so a rust free car is always a good start.

Even Rust free Stangs have issues.

I don't think buffing would fix the clear coat though...I'd say it need a paint job.

I did and anything around $2000 need either paint, doors, interior, hatch or glass. To me that isnt a bad price if I was going to do a motor swap. I would offer $1500 and see what he does.

If it is solid $1500 would be a fair price...but like I said he has had that on craigslist for awhile, so I bet something else is going on with it.
