Wasn't rust an option on most Toyota trucks back in the day?

Cool truck...i've driven/ridden in quite a few lifted 4 Runners and pickups...they're super fun little trucks.

The fram is SOLID no rust holes. It has typical lifter noise. It needs a timing chain sometime soon supposed to do them every 100,000. I have the new timing chaing guides and gaskets kit to do it. I also have the shop manual for this truck. Used to work for a toyota dealer and snatched it:bigthumb. And rust was an option for this year only but cost's extra!! Any offers come get this thing sick of paying inusurace for somethin i dont drive! all i want is $900 back out of it that i spent on tires last summer.

I think rust was a dealer installed option but was mostly given away free on all of them. LOL! Good luck, looks like a fun truck.

New fiberglass front fenders and an early model bed would fix this truck up right. You'd be into it for ~$1500 and have a perfect little truck.

I miss my '87 Toy. :( She had ~250k miles when I speared her with a guard rail.

Anyone just bought a new truck and have no use for this one. someone needs to play in the mud! Truck is also dependable enough to drive daily.
