This is copied from Modularfords.com.

In response to this thread - http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...fords-com.html - and the accusations of Zack McGrath, I felt it would be best to send a mass email out to everyone so they can understand the full story behind this guy.

Zack is a fraud and a crook. He has been ripping off the Marauder community for some time now, selling tunes he has stolen from legit tuners, and selling them as his own. He has been buying up used locked SCT XCal2s, reading the files off, and reselling those as his own. He somehow attained this ability by cracking the software. He has a copy of the old SCT Advantage 2.9 software, and has aquired the keymaker for it. He is selling this software to people as well.

I am a member of a private message board, called EFITO. All of the top tuners are members of the community and we help each other out. This forum is private, but this is where I learned of Zack's crooked doings. From that, I searched him out on ModularFords where I found him in the classifieds looking to buy locked programmers. I then checked his Private Messages to find out what other shady dealings he was doing, and I caught him trying to sell this pirated software he has to members of the site.

The private messages were relayed to the owners of SCT.

I feel confident that SCT will be persuing legal action against Zack soon, there is more than enough evidence that he is breaking the law.

After I found him on my site, he was banned. Now he is on a mission to try and hurt modularfords.com and my business. Through snooping and trial and error, he found a directory on my server which is not linked to from anywhere, so I know he was just trying to find a back door, and he found the above. The files in the EFITO directory (now removed) were uploaded by another tuner. A keygenerator for WinRar, which you can find easily all over the internet. It may or may not have a virus in it, I never used it.

Members of ModularFords have nothing at all to worry about, just avoid Zack, because it is now obvious that besides being a crook, he is also malicious when cornered up. Our site is secure, and we don't go fishing through PMs, though we do have the ability to read PMs just like every forum site owner. If we have a reason to look, we will. Zack is under investigation, so I did my part on finding evidence.

We have and always will keep our members best interest at heart and would never do anything to possibly jeopardize our positive standing with the automotive community. I wanted to make sure that I address this situation personally instead of trying to defend the false allegations on another forum.

If you see Zack posting about ModularFords on other sites, please be sure to post a link to the above thread to clarify any confusion.

So if you see this guy posting on any of the boards you frequent be sure to copy and paste this into his thread.

Let me ask you a moral question, didn't SCT hack into Fords programming to be able to tune?

What is his normal username?

Email address?

IP address?

PS: I'm not trying to start a war over this, only it happened YEARS ago with the Honda Community. Only takes a few smart puter geeks to crack the hex decimal code.

His username on modfords was zack5959.

As far as the moral issue. Yes SCT did hack the Ford code but they developed a product based off of that. What this guy did was hack SCT's product and is peddling it off as illegal pirated software.

And in addition to that he us buying locked SCT programmers and downloading the tunes off of them and selling them as his own custom tunes.

All he has to do is change one tuning cell, but hacking a hacker, no honor among thieves.

LOL, I see this goes back two years or more when SCT pushed out an employee/owner.

I bet I can even find the disassembler if I dig deep enough.
