thanx alot guys for the compliments. It had no exhast on it at all in that video. open headers. it has 3 in bullets on it now and its nt to much quieter. but she dropped 40lbs by getting rid of the x pipe and mufflers. cam is a large hr cam from bullet cams 257/261 655 lift on a 110 ls. Used with solid roller springs. hopefully she gets down this year. i will post a vid tomorrow with the exhaust on .... thanx again. love you keeping your job rick ive been talking about it all night. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

chad you and i both know a auto isnt going in the car. not unless i have i accidentally lose my lft foot or something like that. I just want something different. Hardly anyone has a stick car that runs in the 10s, with a na motor. maybe i should put a c4 in it that way i can send my grandma down the track so she can run mid 10s. IF i get the car into the 9s na then i will start thinking about it. THe 5 spd is just too much fun. :D

Nice sounding car....real healthy. What type pistons are you using with that much lift?

Im using some custom je pistons that are inverted dome. so basically they have valve reliefs for the tw r head but are dished a bit also. I ckd p/v clearance with a big chunk of clay and it just barely put a mark in it. i coulda went much higher lift and duration than what i used. Hell i was just glad i could still use the power brakes. Kevin

So your using a Hyd Roller with solid roller springs? What rocker setup is that?

Yea im using springs that are 220 on the seat and 560 open. I also have linkbar lifters in order for this to happen. The roller rockers are shaft mount jesels in 1.7. Kevin

Hell i just hope it doesnt slow down.. heads may be too big or cam to small. you never know till she hits the streets . Gotta have precision try to tune it on the 30s. i dont know how thats going to go.. Kevin

That's cool Kev, I can understand why you want to leave it a stick, it's way too much fun! I just pulled my tremec out to put the auto back in, and it's killing me to do it. If I could step away from the n2o for a little while, I would love to see what it's capable of n/a with a stick. It went 10.8@125 last november, so I think it has a little more in it with some more driving. Unfortunately I sold the tranny to a buddy, so it looks like it's back to the auto. What sucks about that is, you have to make it alot faster(with an auto), to be as exciting therefore increasing the risk of hurting something. I just upgrded the rear(33 spline/spool), so I won't be breaking that at least. How soon will you have nellie out?

Yea i definetely would not use a stick with the nitrous. I would be scare that one missed shift would be bad fast. So no more 31 spline? thats good one less thing you have to worry about breaking. I drove nellie the other day i just have the steering wheel jacked up so i have to fix that. I believe its ready to be tuned i just havent had a chance to do it. got a couple options for that. I need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator just in case i cant put enough fuel in it.. you got one in that parts barn of yours..hehe Kevin
