Tell me about it, I'm trying to part down my notch, but am expected to give parts away that havent even been used yet lol. I know times are hard, but they were when I gathered these parts lol. Its got me thinkin maybe I should just throw it together and drive it, then I know I'd keep it.

amen. everything cost money. when buying used you are paying less then new but there are limits. If you don't like the price don't buy the part. Find it somewhere else or bite your lip and pay what its real worth is.

Thanks for the Gas tank Ed, Now get a pic of your car with headlights and those fender extensions on it! :bigthumb

Thanks for pickin up the stuff Bob.

I hear you though on the lowball deal. If someone asks a certain price, I try to pay it, simply because I know what most parts are worth and there is no sense in hassling for them...

Then there are just pure steals, which every once in a while you find on like CL or something...

OMG! you are sooo right! I thought about it all night and day today, and decided to throw my car together and keep it. I'm not pressed to sell, just wanted another bike. So on that note, I'm not going to take a 60-75%loss on anything. I'm going to be rolling a black notch by summer baybay!:bigthumb If nothing else, it got my mojo going again for the build lol

I had 8 pm's on my 5" harwood hood. I was asking $350 for a $550 hood, and got offered $200 lmao. I'll keep it, hell I drove to Brooklyn MI for it, and paid $350 for it. Besides, it looks sooo killer on my ride anyways lol...

I just came to the point that I realized I didnt have to sell them, just wanted to go a different route. So rather than cut my throat on EVERYTHING, I'll just keep it and cruise it around lol...

I can certainly understand why being low balled is annoying, but honestly... you can always say no so I don't know why it's that big of a deal. If the offer doesn't work for you, don't accept it. I'd rather have lowball offers than no offers.

Thats fine on one or two items, but after more than 10-15 it becomes an insult. As I said before, times are hard, but they were when I bought these parts. Thats what I did though, i kept them and am finishing the car. As for you Aaron, dont let the wifey pick either set of heads, lose lose situation lmao.

its not just ford parts either, I have a 240sx parts car, and people have been trying to basically steal the parts from me I just say go somewhere else, and try to find them.
