Even it was a world record, I think I'm missing the point. What is the point of that again? I thought drifting was simply a technique used to compensate for an inadequate suspension system?

It's all about car control. Drifting in real racing is a "just right" sort of thing. Too much will slow you down as will not enough. Where would WRC be without drifting?


Oh and that's pretty damned amazing for a stock suspension/stock engine car.
