I have a 1996 explorer with a wrist pin knock. I am trying to find an engine to replace this one .If you got anything let me know.

I used a mustang short block in mine. Just swap heads,oil pan,timing cover etc.

I looked into that but stroker kits are balanced to 28oz and the explorer use a balancer with integrated excitor ring for the crank trigger. It would have to be custom balanced 50 oz kit or have a one off custom balancer built.

You can get them in 50 oz. as well
