I am purchasing a 94 GT (5spd) and I have a complete TFS street kit I had initially planned on putting on my '92 LX. Well I am now selling the LX and I want to put all my new goodies on the 94. I have heard the 94-95's do not like change and the computer will fight you all the way. I was just wanting some imput on anyone who has done a HCI combo on a 94-95 GT and what if anything you had to do to get it running right. If you had to get it re-tuned on a dyno how much time did it take? Anything else I should know before getting started?

Thanks for any imput.

Jus did the tfs top end kit on my moms car abt. 2 weeks ago...I know when u use the taller valve covers u have to get a 1 inch spacer to make the intake clear, after this the egr will not line up.u will need to get the car retuned after u do this figuring ur going to use different injectors and stuff the tune will be needed, the kits do make good power tho. thnx Mike

Were you still able to run a stock hood with the spacer?

Cool, I have been reading some threads on other sites. Sounds like it is going to be a pain in the ass compared to the fox bodies. Of course I do not have echeck in my county so GOOD BYE polution controls and EGR

I put a 347 with Vic Jr's and a big cam in my 95 and I drove it for awhile before getting it tuned. It ran great no issues at all. I suggest switching to a fox style tbody setup though.

Just nice to get that elbow off of there. I did it so I could run an Accufab tb.

How did you plum it to the MAF? Im intrested because I have a brand new tb for the fox. Could you send me a pic of it to cntlose92@woh.rr.com?

If you want the filter and meter in the fenderwell you have to fab something up yourself. If not you can just run a fox CAI with the filter in the engine compartment. All you need for the swap is a fox throttle cable and fox IAC valve and fox TPS sensor. Just cut your connectors off and solder fox connectors on.

That is what I did. My 95 has Dart Pro 1 heads, Tfs cam and Performer intake. No real tuning problems. I do need to have Cincy Speed spend some dyno time with it. I know there is more power there.

Well tonight I start the build. I am going to post my progress in the projects section. Thanks for all the replies and I may hit you up later as I go.

I run gt40y's , steeda #19cam, trick flow intake and all the other bolt-on's on my 95 gt . No tune and run's great, no computer problems at all.
