Ok maybe I am stupid but I need some help. I dont get this stimulus thing. all these places getting money. I was in the car buisness, but in the selling and financing end. I still lost my job in a buisness I have been in for 11 or 12 years. I dont know what to do now. It was december and I need to start all over. GM got bailed out but the only people it helps is the people who have money any way. Then I see on the news that they are winterizing homes for free but it seems that its slum houses getting the help. I mean I get it. If the energy bill for someone on welfair is lower the govt. doesnt have to put out so much to pay the bill. The people getting help dont pay the bills. They eat for free, get free housing, and get money on top of that. A company donated money to build 3 houses for habitat. The houses are going to avondale and kennedy hights?? Again, people that already live on the taxpayers dime, getting better things than the people working or recently laid off. The rich stay rich and the poor and unwilling seem to be making out pretty good too. Just bugs me. I think we need to swap it around and everyone who is on welfair needs to work and everyone who has been working so hard so they can keep the things they have get some time off. At least can we have manditory drug testing for all welfair reciepiants every 3 months and random home checks...

We Are All Socialists Now

In many ways our economy already resembles a European one. As boomers age and spending grows, we will become even more French.
