I recently bought a 22k mile '92 LX from Utah. I sold my modified 128k '92 LX and now I am going to start building the new one. I have on order the TFS Street Heat kit which will be here on Thursday. I also purchased a full MAC exhaust with dumps, and all the usual intake bolt-ons. The car is an AOD so tranny build up and rear gears will be next on the list.

Take tons of pics of the original stuff. They could be worth something some day!

Thats the best way to buy one. The cost of a new paint job makes buying a mint condition car that more af a good deal.

Thats one unmolested 5.0, good luck with the build and keep us informed with the progress.

I had mildly built the other one but it was going to need so much more, paint, interior, Ziebart removed, etc... it made sense to start with a cherry. Being this one is from out west it has no undercoating. Here are a couple more pics...including the air silencer. When is the last time you saw cherry porno red interior?...for good reason!

I like the idea of using a virgin for the project car. What's that saying...? The nicer car you have to start with, the nicer it ends up. Or something like that. I forget. But it applies here.

Well plans for this car have been put on hold. I bought a '94 GT convertible and will probably put all these parts on it, after all they are only original once. I currently have the '92 LX listed for sale. If it does not sell by the end of my Durango lease I will keep it. So when it warms up I will begin on the '94.
