For those of you guys using Tubular K-members, where are you putting your tie down straps when you haul your car?
I'm using a UPR K-member and thinking about welding some loops on it before I put it in. Any suggestions?

I've seen loops welded to the bottom of the front frame rails. That is how Gary Rohe did Timido's car. It works real well.

I put my front strap hooks on the front bar of the A-arm on each side. If you have axle straps you can loop those around the K-member near the motor mounts.

I just put the strap around the main bar where it meets the control arm and tightener up on both sides.

My loops are on the K member and loops on the rear frame rails. It makes tieing the car down so nice.

i am going to make loops to weld to the front frame rail and just use a axle strap in the rear.

I'm going to try using axle straps for now. I had a nice big loop welded on the stock k-member, which was nice. Thanks again.
