I bought a radiator fan off of www.summitracing.com for my 2000 mustang gt and the fan came with only 2 wires a hot and a ground? Now my mustang has 3 and it only runs with the AC on. does anybody know how i can wire it like stock?
PS I have the two red(Hot) wires off the mustang twisted together going into the hot on the aftermarket fan.

One wire is a high speed and the other is a low. Depending on the max amps your fan pulls you can probably get away with tying the high speed wire to the hot of the new fan.In order to wire it like stock you will need a 2 speed fan.

probably have to read a schematic for the car and find out which wire is which. Amp draw is read when the motor gives a load so since the motor isn't there anymore it would be hard to tell that way. Why did you take off the old fan set up? The stock fans pull quite a bit as is.

I needed all the room I could get I put a turbonetic turbo on it. and the old one took up way to much room.

got ya. I kept mine when I did my turbo set up. Didn't want to sacrifice any cooling.

The low speed voltage feed goes through the big resistor to step the voltage down and run the fan slower. Full voltage (12vdc) will come from the one without the resistor. Since you are putting a turbo on your car I would assume you have some means to tune the car. Use it to set your low and high speed fan outputs to suit your application.
