Don't know if im 100 % sold on these side bars. I kinda like them but would kinda like to have swing out bars. I thought these would be easy to get in and out but harder then I thought.

What do you guys think ?

Are they NHRA legal?

I think I would rather have a set of swing out bars.

I am pretty sure they arent NHRA legal. Cut them out and put in some swing out door bars. I used a quik pin at the top and bottum of mine so I can remove them for street driving.

Im about 90% sure that the only legal one's are the swing out bars, the other one's aren't legal.

Yes I don't know about legal what I read says bar must come between shoulder and elbow. So who knows think I may do the swing bar.

If you guys got a pic of your side bars post them up.

That thing looks like it would be a major pain to get in and out of. Here is a pic of my swingout.

Hey Brian I don't have any pics but they will swing as wide as the door will open.

Thanks, Gary Rohe did them for me and I think it is the Competition Engineering kit.

Here's the Wild Rides kit, the door bars are a touch higher than other kits, but the bars turn down sooner and gives a little more foot room at the front.

There's about 3 places thee door bars can bend in that top photo.

I wouldn't want swing out bars in my car either, just my opinion.
