Anyone ever use one of these? If so are they worth 50.00 or no?

This will put you one step closer to solving your idle
problems! It is a must for modified cars! This thin,
adjustable aluminum plate fits between the throttle
body and the idle air control motor. It allows you to
adjust the flow of air in and out of the idle air control
motor for better control of your Mustang’s idle speed.

I just made my own...it was to fix the hanging idle. Just take a piece of aluminum...trace the ICM then drill one whole the same size...the other one you start small 3/16 and increase the size untill you can rev it and it falls back down fast without stalling. The flamer ain't to bad so I have not done it but my dad's 01 cobra was terrible....took forever for the idle to come back to normal.

50 bucks !!! Jeez, I remember when they were like $15. Yes, they can help with your idle - sort of like a small controlled vacuum leak.

My moms 89 GT had one on it, seemed to move the idle around a little when I messed with it.

The functions of the IAC can all be controlled in the tune. This plate is more of a band-aid.

My old '88 GT had one, and I think I still have it laying around. It did not help with anything so I took it off. I set the idle like Ford Racing states to and it fixed my problem:

If you have not done this see if it will help with your problems...it did mine. If not let me know, and if I can find my old one I will sell it to you for a lot less than $50.

I am wondering if this is what is wrong with my car. When it is cold it will not stay running unless you hold the pedel down and keep it at 2000rpm and only when it is at normal operating temp will it stay running. do you think this would help me out on cold starts?
