They need to slow that down before he hurts someone or himself

That is absolutely flying. If he can run the number and at that speed, I am sure that thing has a cage from hell in it.

He said the car scared him on the big end spinning the tires in high gear it also shredded 3 chutes in two days he said it is all over the place when the chutes come out. He said he is done with it.

Yeah man just because you can doesn't mean you should. That's still a unibody car, not a purpose built tube frame chassis car. 150mph is one thing man but 223 is getting ridiculous.

That is fast, scary fast, especially for a unibody on DR's

I STRONGLY disagree. I emphatically disagree. I would not want ANYONE telling me how fast I needed to go.
Yes Hance said he was scared of the car. (it's 25.2 btw, so it's no wet noodle chassis or anything) Still though, whether you've got an 18 second bracket car or a 4 second Top Fueler, no one should tell anyone else how fast they should go. It's just not right.

I know what the car is and Hance always has the best of the best but there comes a point when a car becomes dangerous to the driver, his opponent and spectators. I think a racing association should slow a class down when it gets out of hand. They wouldn't slow a class down just for the hell of it. There is a reason there are rules its for people who don't have enough common sense to realize they are slowing them down for safety.

No I'm not there comes a point when it can get out of hand. 223 MPH on a drag radial is insane. If he wadded the car up and hurt himself or someone else there would be a lot of people saying what the hell was he thinking.

Here's what Hance had to say about it.
"as most of you may know the drag radial car is and has been for sale....i cannot afford to run a 2 car operation like i've had in the past....the $$$ is just not there anymore so one must go. i assure you the drag radial car has the very best of everything. I will also go on the record saying i'm afraid of the car on the big end especially when pulling the shoots....i'm afraid i will hurt somebody else in the other lane because the car moves over a lane when chutes deploy....we have broken/torn up 3 chutes in 2 days and that will be the end of that for me."

This quote pretty much sums up my opinion on this topic:
"A true hotrodder wouldn't be content until he had created a car so violent, so totally sick that the act of dropping the hammer would result in instant death. Anything less results in the need to go faster."
Steve Grebeck comes to mind. That's why he nicknamed the car that killed him "psycho bitch"
If Hance is scared, that's his prerogative... but it shouldn't -F- things up for everyone else.

I don't think it will mess it up for everyone else. I really doubt they will do anything to slow drag radial down. There are only a handful of drag radial cars out there that could run that number and mph. That car probably cost 100 plus to build and for that kind of money your not to far off a 10.5 or promod car were the you could win quite a bit more money.

And now there are 2 in the 6s on radials.
Kevin Fiscuss made a couple 6 sec runs.

Man that's crazy. I've been in a 9 second car and it was brutal...i can't imagine 6 seconds. That's literally twice as fast as my car.
