Figured since i'm new here i would go ahead and put up some pics of our mustangs and some info on them.

My 02 is pretty well built. Has a Modular Powerhouse Built 302 Stroker Mod Motor, MPH custom grind blower cams, MPH stage 2.5 heads, kb 2.2 and lot of other supporting mods. Here's a few pics:

My 86 is a completely stock and probably 85% original. Car has a 107,000 miles on it but was very well maintained.

The wheels on the 06 are American Racing Dale Jr Killer Series. They are 20x8.5 with 255/35/20 sumitomo htrz II's on them. Actually have those up for sale right now. They are a very nice wheel only got 2000 miles on them.

the 02 put down 640/591 on race gas and 601/561 on pump gas. makes for a fun street car. before anyone ask about times the car has never been to the track yet.

As far as the 86 goes i got kind of lucky on getting it. I had been looking for a fox body but wanted something low mileage, stock and original. Needless to say i had a hard time finding anything that was what i wanted at a reasonable price. A friend of mine had bought this car a few years back from someone in indiana. It just sat in his garage for 2-3 years. I asked him a couple time about selling it but never got an answer. Finally in the fall of 07 he asked me if i wanted it and i had to jump on the deal. not necessarily low mileage(though not bad for the year) but it was more original and cleaner than alot of the lower mileage cars i looked at. Thanks for the compliments.

Nice rides, id leave the 86 as it sits, its getting difficult to find on that hasnt been beaten to death, and its cool to see a mustang how they started out, simple and fun to drive from the start.

The 86 definately will not be touched, it will stay stock. Right now i'm actually having a hard time trying to figure out what i want to do for exhaust. It has a oem factory exhaust that is in need of being replace, but i want to stay with something that looks and sounds as oe as possible. However, i don't want to pay the price that i have seen some nos exhaust sale for.:)

Nice collection you have there. Love the 86 too. As far as exaust, aftermarket h or x pipe, flowmasters and shorties. Simple and always sounds good on a 5.0

That's my problem, i don't want it modified. Trying to keep it original. Trying to find what catback will have tails that look closest to the oe stuff. I'd would be doing pretty much just as you mentioned if i was going to modify it.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Plated, I was looking at one of the paint threads that showed some of your work. Looks awesome. I've always wanted to do something a little custom with the paint on my 02, but have never been creative enough to know exactly what.

Dynomax has the catback with real stainless tails, not cheap chrome plated, the system sounds good but just not as good as some flowmasters. I think you can by the dynomax tails by themselves. Sounds more factory if you get the dynomax.

Of all the exhaust brands i had checked, never thought of dynomax. Looked at their site lastnight and from the pics it looks like what i've been looking for. Thanks for the heads up.

no problem, i bought the dynomax kit for one of my stangs because of the tails and the cost at the time was pretty cheap compared to some. It was a good sounding exhaust.:bigthumb
