nothing super major, carpal tunnel, the years of lifting and typing have been catchin up
now one to whine, but n e time your gettin knocked out it;s kinda scary, they told me i'd get like 3 martinis and i said, that may not do it for me lol
worst part, no food after midnight, i was dyin this morning
of course i had sold my surgeon a car, i always network lol, luckily it wasn;t a lemon, he made a joke and was like yeah, or your stuff would be all crooked to the left when i;'m done
if theres typos i'm already tired of backspacing
got finished about 10:30, and told the wife to take me straight to perkins, they told me to go home, my wife told em i was planning on going to work and they said i was legally drunk,, (they've obviously never seen me drink)
so, after perkins, i the wife drop me off at work, had an appointment already scheduled, sold my car and took off about 3:30
all in all a productive day , i lived and sold a car haha
now i gotta wear a spling for a week and a half, i started practicing left hand activities last week, lol, don;t ask
we'll see how this one goes and then i'll probably get the other done,
they prescribed some vicodin but i'm not big on pain killers so i;ll take a couple tylenols and see how that goes
Glad you are doing OK, hope you heal quickly, Live to sell another day!

When it comes to wrist problems, I feel your pain, trust me! In 2005 I shattered my ulna and radius in my right wrist... I was in a full arm cast for months, and had 2 surgeries for that, including a closed reduction and had to have it manually snapped back into place. 9 months after that, after it got more screwed up, they discovered that my TFC (main ligament in your wrist) was completely torn and had to have reconstructive surgery again, plus 2 or 3 more casts...... oh, after that I had to get 2 external pins put in with a plate for 12 months, and another cast. And surgery again to get them removed. So I would not wish wrist problems on anyone!
Hope everything heals for you and you have no problems though! A co-worker just had the same surgery last week and is doing fine now.

Mine felt fine the next day too, I went to work. But 2 days later it now looks like a grapefruit was implanted above my kneecap. Not at work today. Good luck.

n e time
Did you know that by typing this, you actually had 1 more keystroke than if you had just typed it out?
n e time = 8 keystrokes
anytime = 7 keystrokes
So your 13-year-old girl text messaging language just contributed to your carpal tunnel.
I have no idea why that jumped out at me. Apparently I'm bored.

Always schedule a surgery for the first thing in the morning, makes the no eating after midnight thing WAY easier. Hope it all goes well for you.

Terry, I had my first surgery on the 12th. It was for an umbilical hernia repair. Like you said, you get kinda nervous about being knocked out but it was like the best sleep that I ever had. Sure wish the healing process was faster. It won't be until the end of April that I can lift anything heavier than 20 lbs. :(
