Im fixing to pull my 302 to fix some driver side shock tower rust. Since its out I figured I would paint the engine bay...Ive never used/owned a paint gun (wanting to learn) but I do have a compressor. Any tips would be great. Also, does Sears sell a decent paint gun (have plenty of gift certificates)? Thanks.

A good gun for a first timer and is priced good for the money is the devilbiss starting line. Hannah paint in middletown has them in stock.

If you can find a Binks Model 7 used for a good price, I swear by them. If a good gun is not in the budget, then I also have a cheapy Kobalt HVLP that isn't bad. I think it was under a hundred bucks.

This the set I bought. They're not high dollar but decent.
